Dawn of a New Age

The economy might have a perpetual crisis, the world might be turbulent, competition might be stiff! But who is to say that we can't capture an enormous market fast, and create extreme wealth at the same time.
The time has come ladies and gentleman, to have the paradigm shift of the century. I can safely say, that those who fail to make the shift, will go where the dinosaurs went 65 million years ago, right into extinction.
Rise like the Phoenix
And the shift that I am talking about will happen in the minds of people. I can already see it happening. It is widespread, and it is catching on like wildfire. I encourage this fire. It is a the fire that will burn down old thinking, and from its' ashes, like the mythical phoenix, a brand new age will dawn upon all of us.
This is the age where people will finally decide their own fate and destiny. No longer will people be forced to sit behind a cubicle for 8 hours a day.
No longer will they be dictated by the rule and law of their employers. No longer will they be forced to give up their precious time with their loved ones for the sake of getting a salary at the end of the month.
In this new age, people will decide how they want to earn their income. They will decide how much they want to earn. They will decide how and when to work. These people are known as "Internet Entrepreneurs".
They will be able to sit in their homes, and choose their own hours, and do their own business, and the best part, earn an unlimited amount of income from all over the world.
These are the business owners of the future who will thrive in the interconnected, massively digital world. In fact this revolution has started, and is already happening right now. Are you noticing it? And more importantly: "Are you a part of it?"
I am an Internet Entrepreneur
Most will not be prepared to change with the new way of doing things. Most will be not even see the change that is happening, until it is too late, and that is why they will be left behind. And those who are left behind, will be the ones, who will continue to work harder and harder for lesser and lesser income.
Ladies and gentlemen, you are now standing in the dawn of an exciting new world, where becoming wealthier, became a whole lot easier. All you have to do is learn the necessary skills, and take advantage of what is available to you right now.

Your Website is Your Fortune

Would you like to make money in the internet? Would you like to own a business in the internet and let it earn an income for you on autopilot? Then please read on.
The internet is the greatest equalizer. It has no boundaries, no barriers, no religion, no races, no politics, no gender and it is without bias. You may be a ‘nobody’ in real life, but you can be ‘somebody’ in the internet.
Having said this, how can you be a ‘somebody’ in the internet? You can be the ‘somebody’ when you master three fundamental skills. If you do not have these three skills, you will never be able to do any business in the internet and you will never make any money in the internet.

So, just like a martial artist who learn their fighting techniques, you need to learn this internet business skills as well.
Would you like to know what these skills are?
The first skill is your ability to design and publish your own website. The second skill is your ability to do effective online marketing. And the third skill is your ability to efficiently build a subscriber database.
In this blog post, I will just talk about the first skill. The skill to design and publish your own website. Think about it. What is the internet made up of? It is made up of websites. It is estimated (at the time of writing) that there are more than 180* million websites in the planet, which is accessed by 2* billion internet users.
Where do these 2 billion internet users go to? They go and visit websites that interest them. And wherever, they go, chances are, they would be willing to spend a little bit their money there. So, if you want to make money online, then you too must have your very own website.
It is also estimated, that in the last 24 hours more than 500 million* US dollars were transacted through the internet in the US of A alone. Is it possible to make some of that money flow to you?
Yes it is possible, if you also had an online business running in the internet. For that to happen, you would need to have a website.
Let me explain this a little bit more. Your website is like an island in the sea. The people who surf the internet are like the ships that are sailing in this sea. These ships can only port in an island, they can’t port anywhere else. Get my drift?
If you don’t own an island, then the ships won’t come. If you don’t have your own website, then how can anyone do business with you?
Here is another thing to ponder, can the ships stop somewhere in the ocean and trade among themselves? Yes they can. But that is small business, and most of the time, the ships that are plying the seas are not interested to trade with other ships, they want to go the islands and trade there.
Let me give you an example of people who try to trade with ships. Do you know of people who post their affiliate links here and there and hope that someone would click on it and become their downline? These are like people who try to trade with other ships. They will never make it.
On the other hand, if you were to create your own island, then the ships would come and port on your island and do business with you. So, create the islands and make it accessible to all. The goal is to make your island a sought after destination.
Similarly, create your own website, and do the effective marketing. Once you start getting relevant traffic, build a database of loyal subscribers. These subscriber are the ones who will eventually buy from you and do business with you.

This is me...
This is my new blog.
After setting it up, just the way I like it, I am now ready to put up posts. Previously, I was on WordPress.com. I decided to migrate to my self hosted wordpress account because I think it is about time that I did that.
However, after I migrated, I realized that the self hosted WordPress is a whole new ball game. I have already crashed this site twice, because I went tweaking the codes. But hey, I am learning, and I am enjoying this whole process.
Now, there must be a reason for everything in life. Similarly, there is a reason that I created this blog. And my reason is to share my thoughts on people, business and the internet in this personal cyber-sphere of mine. Why people? Why business? And why the internet?
Well, I am passionate about all these three subjects. I am fascinated by people, I am fascinated by business and I am certainly fascinated by the internet.
Well, in my future blog posts, I will be sharing more.
